Artist’s Statement
Largely self-taught, my visual imagery, expressed in light and shadows full of
nature’s life, is what I call "WildScapes". These reflect my exploratory journey
to understand the philosophy of the natural environment as a whole and
integral entity of ourselves. It’s the explosion of river mist rising from the early
morning light. It’s the ripple of satin color resonating from the mid-afternoon
reflection of a tree-lined riverbank. It’s the gurgling serenity of a winter stream
glowing warm during day’s decline.
"WildScapes" are sacred outer places echoing my inner landscape. I am a visualactivist for nature.
