Exhibitions: Maria has shown her works previously at several shows at the
CPC including “Cycle- Pedia, “Ink in the City: Chicago Printers Guild at the CPC”
and “Small Prints, BIG SHOW”.
Artist Statement: Maria Sanchez is an artist working in
printmaking, mixed media, bookmaking, and textiles. She holds a BFA in Studio
Art/ Printmaking from the University of New Mexico, where she created and
showed work via solo and collaborative exhibitions in the Albuquerque area.
Relocating to Chicago in 2010 she currently works and teaches private lessons
through the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative.
