Artist Statement: Todd A. Irwin is a Chicago-based printmaker who uses his experience as a commercial printer in his approach to fine art; combining commercial printing techniques with an expressive use of color and abstraction. His work touches upon human perspective in relation to urban environments, memory, and decay. Todd’s work has been shown at the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative, Transistor, The Colonie, and Prak-sis Gallery. Todd is also an active member of the Chicago Printers Guild.
